This painting is inspired by the talented Queen Latifah during the early stages of her career. She constantly promoted women empowerment and unity in her music and was famous for rocking beautiful crowns over her hair. I was fascinated by the intricacy in this particular crown and utilized metallic leaf to accent the gold detailing throughout the design.
